Rule for trading involvng a draft pick/before the draft: 1. Trade must involve a player on your keeper list 2. You can not have more than 6 players nor less than 4 as a result of the trade 3. If the draft is not held here and the trade is completed before the draft then the person who has the pick must tell the trader of the pick who they want. 4. Trade must be somewhat equal. No Shaun Alexander for Cedric Houston trades here. 5. Trading has to involve the same # of players/picks no 2 for 3, 1 for 2, etc. trades. This is just the before the draft rules if the draft is held on ESPN, if it's held here then only rules 1, 2, and 4 apply.
Haha not likely unless you want one of my RBs or TEs but I'm pretty set on keeping Brown and both QBs and WRs.
Looks like we're waiting till after June 1st to do the keepers. I mean I've a clue who I want to keep(Tomlinson & Gates) but I'm still not sure about the other 2-4 guys.
Hmm, I don't really have anyone I'm desperate to keep, but I suppose the value is with my defensive guys.
Just keep the minimum guys. People like Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison will be available and depending on how we determine which picks you forfeit, you could have more early picks to restock and reload your team. My suggestion for the two of you though is you might want to start looking at some of the better rookies and two year guys like Matt Leinart, Ronnie Brown, Vernon Davis, Braylon Edwards, etc. If you aren't built to win now, grab those guys in like the 4th or 5th rounds and hang on to them for a couple years. The beauty of my team is that I have great players now, who will still be kicking around for a couple years (Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Eli Manning, Dom. Davis, Steve Smith, etc.)
Yeah, it's weird though because I did make the playoffs with the team I had, but there was just no real quality. Blowing my first rounder on Trent Green may be the worst pick ever.
Haha yeah... I don't recal where you picked but I was like 18th. I got Dom. Davis in the first round so I feel your pain.
Does anyone have a problem with having a team logo for this year? You don't have to make it yourself as the photoshop experts are willing to help anyone, the size requirement is 200x170 for the logo for espn and normal sig size for the TGG page.
Examples: http://www.carolinafantasyfootball.com/cgi-bin/league/team.cgi?team=BSI http://www.bayou.com/cgi-bin/fflteam.cgi?team=venom http://www.bayou.com/cgi-bin/fflteam.cgi?team=sranger mega-example of what I want for this league in look with everything pic won't show up so click the link http://www.geocities.com/cfflwebman/cha.html http://www.carolinafantasyfootball.com Now that is how I want the keeper league to be like
I have no photoshop talent whatsoever. I'm sure someone can come up with something amusing for "Mile High Jets" though!
I'm sending an email to people about the logo and if they want to do it themselves or have the photoshop people help them come up with one. Of course I want to make them TGG friendly so people can use them as sigs or avatars. With the Charlotte Knights page that is something I'd like with logos but not as large the top pic in the last post I made is enough. I don't want to be a big pain to the photoshop people so I can do resizes and cropping if possible but don't ask me about the design since I suck at it. Just want to get an early start so I won't be rushed at the last minute. any questions - post it here or PM me
So we can cut down out roster to 6 if we know our 6 keepers? or atleast cut most of the dead guys till I figure out who my 6 will be? Do I have to keep 6?
