I thought posters like mr nyjet said the Jets couldn't win today because the Texans beat the Jaguars twice and the Jaguars beat the Jets. Seriously, how many people here mentioned that strange logic the past few days? Hopefully, they learned their lesson.
All we need are stops.....keep them to FG's on any penetrating drives....and no big-yardage plays. We do that and a few FG's or another TD should ice the game for GangGreen.
Also, someone mentioned Miller on Punt returns earlier in the thread. I have to say that I love having Dwight back there, he may not be as dynamic in the return but he is safe. He knows when to call the Fair catch and when to have a run, and he seems to have very safe hands.
Nobody said it was.....another TD and we can start thinking clock management....another FG and we're in great shape.
Now we know why Mangini wanted to stick with the 3-4 all year even though the Jets were having trouble with it early. They seems to all be playing great now, including Vilma who had me worried earlier this year.
