9-3 NYJ at the half. So far, it's been a defensive game. The Jets offense are having good drives, but they just can't get into the endzone. Nugent is doing well kicking the ball, and it was nice to see him hit a 54 yarder. The Jets defense is doing great imo. They are holding a decent offense in the Texans to 3 points. (David Carr is a mobile QB, and he has good receivers in Andre Johnson and Moulds). Let's hope the Jets can get into the endzone in the 2nd half, and the defense still stops the Texans O.
It felt like miller time i had a strong feeling it was gonna be a big return since missed field goals are rarely misssed that bad, but since Hester return that one a couple weeks ago teams are prepared for it.
In the 2nd half, we need a big stop, texans get ball first. With a stop, then either another FG or TD, a 2 score lead in this game is huge.

Leon hasn't gotten many carries, not sure why, he's got 2 carries for 10 yds. Defense looks sharp, key 3rd down sacks have helped hold houston to 3. And miller has yet to return a kickoff, the texans won't kick it to him.
Why was Mangini smiling after the Nugent kick? Because he didn't have to answer questions later today on how he allowed the Jets to try to make a 54 yard kick and it gave the Texans such good field position after the miss.
You betcha. 11 carries for 11 yards is pretty pathetic. What happened to the "dominance" of Washington and Houston? Schott doesn't seem to think too much of them.
