I was kidding. Of course I know what it is. It's those crazy people who fling poop and pee at other people like chimps at the zoo.

I'm sure at this point the Feds and the local PD know more than what they are saying. That's not always bad business. Whenever something horrible happens everything is rife with inaccuracies. The picture that's developing for me is that it was 100% planned and pre-meditated. but something threw the switch with this guy. An act of paranoia, feeling persecuted by unseen forces, punishing strangers with death and carnage to get the last laugh, who knows? I really hate this guy, and all one can hope for in the aftermath is that something will be discovered about what made him tick with a faint glimmer of hope that something like this can possibly be prevented in the future. Because there's always a future until there isn't one left.

I wish the news outlets would shut up about Paddock right now. Let law enforcement do their jobs and be patient for the outcome instead of sensationalizing that POS coward, and even though he's not here to see it (GOOD!), in theory, it's giving him what he wants. There are so many stories of unbelievable heroism while the bloodshed was unfolding that deserve far more attention than this dead turd. Put the emphasis there while people are reeling and grieving. There is so much division in our country right now, but I'd much rather hear about people jumping in front of flying bullets to shield friends, family, and most of all, COMPLETE STRANGERS than hear about this a-hole more than I have to at the moment. I'm a born cynic and I don't think much of the human race, but often when a situation goes DEFCON 1 level of nuclear, there's always those select few who don't for an instant see race, religion, political stance, nationality, gender, etc, go on autopilot, and barely think of their own lives or safety. The sad part is that it takes DEFCON 1 level of nuclear to treat other people with respect and decency when it should just be second nature in common everyday life. Unfortunately, it will never be like that. We all know this is true, because, well, that human race thing.

This guy deserves a medal. He really does. I hope he gets it.

I thought I heard the ammonium nitrate was in the car, not that it matters much as he did not have the other ingredients needed for a bomb. Wonder if he had the other stuff at a second location and he planned to head there after, if he got away. Though it doesn't seem he intended to leave.

The slip and fall is a possibility, as is gambling debt, but there is also the chance he just snapped. His father was psychotic so that could have been passed down to him.

Maybe he was mad OJ was getting out of the clink. I actually can't believe no-one has gone there yet.

    Glad you're OK.

Um, no.. snapped is when someone gets mad, takes a firearm right away and goes shooting up some place. This took weeks, if not months, of preparation.

It doesn't look like getting away was in his plans at all. He could have tried to escape right after he stopped shooting (10 mins into the massacre) while there was chaos everywhere and they didn't exactly know where or who he was. He chose to stay in.

We are on the brink of revolution. I'm going to stand up and be counted against those who hate America. Too many people don't want to believe it because they're too safe and fat and happy

A psychotic can absolutely plan something out, it is not always a 180 degree turn from normal everyday guy to homicidal maniac. Maybe snapped was the wrong word but psychotic tendencies could have taken over, with him having a plan and carrying it out. James Holmes was psychotic and he planned and carried out the Colorado movie theater massacre. I think the psychotic break is more likely than him being controlled by some larger group.

So here are supposedly two of his guns:

    [IMG] [IMG]

The one with the red dot is definitely an AR-15 variant. Why did he have the red dot on if he was going to shoot 300+ yards? The scoped one with the bi-pod looks like a .308.

So he shot himself in the mouth. You know this girlfriend of his may be huge. Wondering if he cracked after she went on vacation. It will be pivotal. When i first saw her pics I thought something was not right. She looks normal on facebook, how can she want to accompany someone and kill so many people.

To me just like other mass shootings, I consider them as domestic terrorism. I just find it funny that idiots like Sean Hannity jump in on day 1 and start their shows by calling out people and media that are trying to politicize this "event" by bringing in the topic of gun control. But when a muslim couple kills people in california, they dont hesitate to talk country bans and safety asap!

Jimmy Kimmel's segment was well said even though many would just talk about it being all left speech.
