People who hate Tebow hate him because he's an atrocious qb, not because he's Christian.

I think the Jets just got fun again. Tebow will heal the locker room. Ha ha. What are you kidding me? Fuggetaboutit.....Everybody stop knee jerking.

    Knee-jerk
A spontaneous, thoughless, predictable and stereotypical reaction to something, usually an opinion or a statement.

This is one of the ludicrous arguments I keep seeing. For anyone to think MS came in and was chilling out on the couch in the coaches room instead of "working" you obviously have no competitive streak in you at all.

Anyone that competes at anything, always wants to be better. Its about beating the other guy every time. This is a straw man argument. Every QB, with very few exceptions (Think Leaf, Jamarcus Chubby) put tons of work in to perfect their craft and get better.

Not have a "Manning" behind Sanchez is a ridiculous and media infatuated and fed bullshit line. So you are saying Peyton Manning wasn't motivated enough because Jim Sorgi was the backup? Arron Rodgers WAS motivated cause the great Flynn was backing him up? C'mon.

Maybe we will get lucky and Manning will hurt his neck before the season and we can flip Tebow back to Denver.

How do you figure. You guys had a tremendously divided lockerroom this past year, while Tebow managed to pull the Broncos all in the same direction...

I don't mind the deal at all. I see him as a Brad Smith replacement for the Wildcat role.

I'm a Sanchez fan, and I think with a new OC he should do fine this season. However, if Tebow's presence and fans chanting for a back-up QB during a rough game so damages his psyche that he can't do the job, then it wouldn't matter if it were Greg McElroy or Drew Stanton backing him up, then he's simply not up to the job.

Yeah exactly... this could potential divide our locker room even more and just ruin our QB. Once Sanchez loses a game everybody will be calling for Tebow and he's no better.

And I remember the Jets moving up to get Revis because the pats wanted him? Whats the point? You really do not believe this happens? We did not defend Tebow too well last year did we? Just an opinion...

Maybe I am missing the point to this: Can someone please name a better Back-Up QB available for just 1.1M per year?

Some do, some don't. If you're discounting the Christian angle, you have blinders on. I've heard and read enough bile to know otherwise.

If what you argue were true, there would be Tarvaris Jackson, Colt McCoy, and Blaine Gabbert hate messages appearing everywhere...

You think it's worth trading a 4th and 6th for a player who will most likely see 5 snaps a game?
