After giving him an extension I'm more likely to be hit by an asteroid.

We could trade for Tebow and just play him in the 4th quarter at QB because that's the only time he's ever good lol....

Clearly they'd be nuts. Of course they paid Hunter his bonus and then tried to trade him too.

If we get Tebow HBO has to throw crazymoney at the Jets to do hard knocks again. Imagine Tebow with Westoff and Rex?

After one week with Rex the incessant cursing would drive Tebow to demand a trade or threaten to retire.

hey....since I'm guessing Sanchez has one of the lowest TD percentages in the red zone after his first three years, we could "totes" use Tebow as our change of pace HB...I mean Qb.

Yeah. We'll use Sanchez inside the 20's and then once he gets the success of putting the team in scoring position we'll do him the honor of benching him to let Tebow go punch it in at a higher percentage.

    It's a brave new world.

thats actually not a bad idea man. The threat of Tebow running inside the red zone could actually lead to a higher TD % in the redzone

The Jets were the #1 redzone team in the league in '11.

Which is why I said in the first three years, to nullify your argument.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE BRAVE NEW WORLD HERE....not Sanchez being a future top level quarterback.

Yeah just like I was right on Shonn Greene.

Sanchez had 4 4th quarter comebacks this year, and has 11 since he entered the league (which Im pretty sure is the most since that time, if not, he’s definitely top 3).

And BTW, the whole team sucked this year, not just Sanchez.

I've had a long day and I don't really understand what the fuck you're talking about. I'll assume you're being sarcastic.

    obv.

The thought of benching your franchise Qb to destroy all of his statistics and confidence and status and everything else to *potentially* marginally improve your redzone TD % for maybe one or two years until Sanchez develops into a quarterback that will clearly dominate Tebow in all areas of the field...is so repulsive to me that I can't really respond with anything but sarcasm.

To bring in Tim Tebow right now is a fucking publicity stunt and nothing but. I'm strongly assuming that this is another instance of Tanny toying with the retarded fans' heartstrings and trying to give the impression of the Jets being stronger players in FA than maybe they really are by getting the Jets name attached to the Peyton race and maybe the Tebow "race."

If it's not we're just wasting time and energy and resources (at the very least) to get another pretty boy Qb that causes 10x the stir in the media every time he gets on his knee to pray to the invisible man in the sky. That's the best case scenario. The worst case is they actually come up with an idea sick and depraved enough to do something like benching Sanchez in the redzone, castrating him and potentially seriously harming his development forever.

The Jets offer for Tebow is a 6th and a 2013 conditional pick which could be up to a 4th...
THAT WORSENS THE CAP..Tanny wtf are you doing bro.
