I have never liked Chad and always saw major talent in Eli and have said so for years on this board.

Why? We know that he is an average QB at best! We are a win-now team! WQe all forget that CHAD was NOTHING last year at all. You do not pay backups the BIG BUCKS! I'd rather see us sign a CULPEPPER. He has a great arm still and if his leg is fully healed, he'd be a real mentor to CLEMENS or anothet strong armed QB that we micght draft. Keeping Mr. Dink and DUNG will only do CHAD some good - financially. This is a business and we are in it to win- it all! CHAD could get us to the playoffs but never go further, no matter how good of a team we sign! QBs with weak arms generally do not fare well in cold climates and windy conditions. Trade him to Minnesota!

Culpepper sucked when he was healthy, he USED to be a good fantasy QB but he's not even good at that anymore. Why would you want a career loser as our QB over a guy who, until last year, did nothing but win for us?
