It's not an assumption when all you do is bitch and moan about pretty much everything. The chances were pretty high. Again, Mangini is not going anywhere so you're in for a long bitch-fest.
These guys are young ad inexperienced at their jobs, i think both got full of themselves after the great job they did a year ago and both struggled this ason. I expect this season will be a learning exerience and I expect them both to get alot better and be here for a long time. There's too much potential in each of them to discard them after 1 poor season(no matter how bad it is). This is exactly what I was talking about w/ Herm a few years ago, everytime we have a bad year everyone wants the coach/GM fired, we can't change GMs/Coaches every 2 years. We need some stability, both of these guys were hired for a reason and they need a chance to prove that they can get the job done over the long haul.
Yeah but you didn't do your research before you struck. That's what makes you a mediocre poster capable only of responding to others with short griping posts. You could easily go build your case for the Jets are not a terrible team and then try to defend it. Attacking the person making the opposite point with inaccurate representations is the lazy man's out.
The Steelers won the SB in 1975. I would say that these four guys did pretty good that year. Swann had 781 receiving yards and 11 TDs.
Well, 99.9% of your posts are just you bitching about whatever GM or coach we currently have so the odds were definitely in my favor  And considering I post from work sometimes, I don't have the time to sit there and look up all of your posts to find the one that you made a somewhat positive post in. Again, going from memory, most of your posts are generally negative. I'm exaggerating about the % above, but I know it would be a high number. But that's ok, some people are pessimistic by nature and some are optimistic. I tend to be more of an optimist with a lot of patience. I need to have a lot of it because of the job I do.
Thanks...I was only 3 at the time so I really never got to see them play. Didn't really get into football until the 80's.
Actually, I think the players they have drafted have shown a lot of promise so far. I'm pretty sure they have a different scouting department for the draft and players already in the league. Our FA pickups have been pretty spotty at best.
Actually I was talking of the veterans on the team that are garbage which why we are 1-8 at this point in time. As for there draft picks I do not think Brick is a world beater. As for KC, Revis & Harris to early to tell
