I'm not saying a good GM would turn the Jets into a playoff team in two years. By turn around, I just mean the Jets should be better than they were and not arguably the worst team in the league after two years.
Yes, because that's how rebuilding seasons work. Jets fans are the real reason why this team hasn't been rebuilt.

Boomer Esiason explained it to the Post weeks ago while explaining how he drove Frank Reich away from this job. The ownership listens to the fans. The vocal majority, anyway. The interesting thing is that makes this year an aberration. So either the Johnsons were able to change it this is a short-lived experiment that will get blown up halfway through next season because the Johnsons are still listening to the fans.

I certainly do. That's how out-of-their-depth these guys strike me. I think that the decision to start a rookie without question was at least partially decided by social media before he was even drafted. Then again that's just my opinion.

would be interested to see what the stats were for the top 4 rookies drafted in Darnold's intake (Mayfield, Darnold, Allen and Rosen) and see if they were materially better or worse at this point - as those stats seem really bad (and Mac Jones' only look relatively good as he is just dinking and dunking down the field)
