Probably get personally offended when anyone calls into question Zach Wilson, as if you were personally being insulted. Kind of like you do. Every time. LOL
They don't need a mentor for Zach Wilson. They need a competitor to either bring out his best performance levels or bury him mercifully before we have to watch what he has bury the Jets for another 3+ seasons.
bickety. You know I love you right? But to me, you are the definition of Wilsonite really. Any time somebody opens their mouth to question Wilson, you use your sarcasm and go after the person.
Nope. He isn't the problem. He is a 21 year old rookie who gives some good signals already. I am still behind him 100%. And I am hopeful that he will turn this thing around. But I understand folks who don't think highly of him. Brad has been a straight arrow in his thoughts for years and years. He isn't a troll, he just expresses his doubts but you go after him not in a cool way. That's what I was pointing out bickety.
I thought the offense moved well in the first half. Was pretty encouraged. Not sure how badly carter leaving slowed our momentum.
JD wouldn’t be doing his job if he used a valuable pick that could help his hand picked Qb on an inferior talent just to make it seem like there is a QB competition going on. JDs job is to identify the QB prospect he wants to bet his career on and then do everything possible to help that QB develop.
He's not the main problem or anything but he definitely hasn't been good so far. In fact he's been quite bad. I think it's pretty sensible to take a mid round flyer on a QB next draft. I'm still optimistic Wilson will improve but when the early returns have been this bad it's not bad to hedge your bets.
Are we ever bringing back the poster awards? Because we have a runaway winner for worst poster by far.
I don't totally agree. You're not going to find me trashing Wilson, but one of the basic team building tenets I believe in is to consistently draft QB's. As an organization, you have to trust your evaluation process. If you find yourself in the 3rd or 4th or 5th or even 6th round and your board says you believe this QB prospect should absolutely not be available to you, it's good business to draft him. QB's are just too valuable. However, I don't really think it should be prioritized for competition's sake. It should be to strengthen your overall QB room and to play the numbers game. The Eagles are "living" evidence for this theory.
It's looking like a real possibility to have 2 top 10 picks next year, and being probably the most important draft for the jets since they had 4 first rounders.
Jamal Adams beat for that TD if Kirk maintained possession, then immediately gets PI on 3rd down to give a new set of downs and the go ahead TD. Adams keeps on giving.
