the more i look at it the no call was right...Poorly managed red zone by the Niners there...They had it man...Gore with the big run and they never ran the BALL

Hell of a game, questionable play calls by the 49ers at the end, but I agree about the no call, if you're going to throw a flag on that you have to be sure the reciever could have caught it in bounds, and I'm not certain where the ball came down the reciever could have gotten both feet down.

 

Doesn't a hold in the endzone just result in a safety anyway?

 

Didn't matter, holding would still have been an automatic safety anyways and would not have stopped the clock at the time of the infraction. At least I don't think it would have.

Is that right? Couldn't they decline the safety? Make them punt again, and try to get at the punter again?
