The Jets winning is science fiction. I remarked on another forum yesterday or on Friday that the Broncos using the Jets facilities was very bad. Cooties and whatnot.
How to win Super Bowls: Video tape the playcalling of your opponent, cheat the salary cap or set new records for PED's.
John Fox did a horrible job, HORRIBLE. You see the difference between a guy like Sean Payton and Fox. Payton had little time to prepare and at least made a game out of it. Fox had 2 weeks and just embarrassed himself.
Coaching is underrated in all professional sports. Always happens "I could just tell [insert best offensive player] to do what they are already doing" is a comment I see too often.
^ I was thinking something like this in a different nature. I feel like recently the best NFL team over the course of the season has not won the SB in a while. I think it's true this year the best overall team won the SB. That's cool. It's not a trend the NFL wants happening over and over, but it's nice for it to happen every once in a while
That and this Seattle team was just truly complete. I think you might have to go back 10+ years to find a team that won the Super Bowl that was as well rounded as this squad.
Onto the next one: RJ Bell @RJinVegas 1h 2015 Super Bowl odds: Sea 7/1; Den, SF 8/1; NE 12/1; GB, NO 20/1; Atl, Cin, Car 25/1; Ind, KC, Phil, Chic, Ari 30/1 RJ Bell @RJinVegas 1h 2015 SB [cont] Dal, NYG, Was, Det, StL, Pit, Balt, Hou, SD 40/1; Mia 50; TB, Ten 60; NYJ, Buf, Cle 75; Min 100; Jax, Oak 200
Off the top of my head, the one of early 2000s Patriots which fits your idea. The 2002 Bucs and 2000 Ravens had historic defenses, but I would have to go back and watch their offense. On the flip side, I'd have to rewatch those Pats teams to double check.
Thats what I was thinking, if its not the Patriots then I dont even know. Bucs and Ravens were offensively challenged.
Well, I was more than a bit off. Kind of a crappy game being so one sided but the Seahawks earned it for sure.
Congrats to the Seahawks Also congrats to me, Soxx, and a few other fans who realized what a terrible mismatch this game was and predicted that Denver had no chance.
Some guy jumped on the mic. and started ranting about 9/11 being an inside job during Malcom Smiths interview. https://vine.co/v/MzEdqObw1nr
Both Steelers Super Bowl teams were well-rounded. It's not like the Seahawks offense lit it up tonight.
