Does the one that you have, have the drive where Baltimore scored their TD? I have only the last few plays of their TD Drive. I'm hoping what they play on NFL Network has the entire drive
Yes it does. While U did not ask mine also has the commericals that was aired during the game as well This from todays Newsday http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...7017feb02,0,4407191.column?coll=ny-jets-print
Is it possible for someone to record it, and make a torrent of it, for those of us that can't get the NFL Network? If so, there'll be lots of Jets fans very grateful... thanks!!!
Sure. I'll be taping it because the copy I have is missing some plays from Baltimore's scoring drive....I'll try to splice it together somehow. Because my copy has all the old commercials too.
You guys do know that the NYC crime families had serious coin riding on this game and threatened Earl Morral that it might be, you know, unfortunate, if the Jets lost and that he'd never see his wife again? Right?
Well I made serious coin since I bet the NYJs straight up & are still livng to tell about it. I have to say it was the very best Monday of my whole life the day after that Sunday in Miami
Thanks for the heads up, but what I'm waiting for is America's Game's replay of Super Bowl III. Looking at the commerical I'm guessing they have to have one on the Jets. Anyone have any info on it?
okay...what???? This is the actual rebroadcast of the game and you are more interested in a 30 minute piece about the game/team?
HaHa! That's a great idea. If I could be home, I'd totally join in on that. Unfortunately, I'll be at a bar watching it with the sound down.
I've seen it a bunch of times, and I'm watching now too. Anyone rememebr that SB highlight/specail, sort of a documentary, where the voice over guy refers to the ball as the "peanut"? I wish I had a copy of that old film from the NFL archives.
So, for those who never saw it before.... now you know why us old timers talk about that O line. The Colts had the most fearsome pass rush in the National football league.... negated. Snell looked pretty freakin good, eh? grantham was a force. The man could blitz. That first Bethea INT in the end zone? Deflected by MLB Atkinson. Philbin was a beast, and the pass rush was what made Earl Morral look so bad and throw INT's. They held the then equivalent of the Indy Colt's offense scoreless until 3:19 left in the game. The Colts were never really in the game. Namath took what they gave, with all of that blitzing, and burned 'em with sort stuff. When he did throw long, half the time it was a 40 yard rope off the wrong foot. That was a great team, and anyone who says otherwise hasn't a clue.
