Han Solo to Luke Skywalker while he is training with Obi Wan on the Millenium Falcon Size matters not. Look at me, judge me by my size do you? Hmm, Hmmmm. As well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerfull ally it is. Life creates it...makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force, around you. Here... between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere...yes...even between the land and the ship.
Here's a good book for anyone interested: http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/starwars/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780345477330 It only took me 20 bathroom sittings to finish. It starts off right after Episode III, so you start to see Darth Vader really turn into the bad guy he becomes. He even hunts some Jedi down. Two Thumbs up from me
Obi-Wan once thought as you do. You don't know the *power* of the Dark Side, I *must* obey my master.
Darth Vader to Luke Here's a tough one because it actually never made it into the movie, which I was VERY disappointed in. Can you guess who is talking to Yoda. This is taken directly off the script
Murrell: Failed to stop the Sith Lord, I have. Still much to learn, there is ... ?????????: Patience. You will have time. I did not. When I became one with the dress I made a great discovery. With my training, you will be able to merge with the dress at will. Your physical self will fade away, but you will still retain your consciousness. You will become more powerful than any Sith. Murrell: Eternal consciousness. ???????: The ability to defy oblivion can be achieved, but only for oneself. It was accomplished by a Shaman of the Whills. It is a state acquired through compassion, not greed. Murrell . . . to become one with the dress and influence still have . . . A power greater than all, it is. ???????: You will learn to let go of everything. No attachment, no thought of self. No physical self. Murrell: A great Jedi Master, you have become, ?????? ???. Your apprentice I gratefully become. Murrell thinks about this for a minute, then BAIL ORGASEM enters the room and breaks his meditation.
My youngest brother does those conventions, he says they're a blast. I say *cough* nerds *cough* Pisses him off to no end.
Remember the line from the movie "Clerk's" when the dude says that he liked Return if the Jedi better than Empire, his friend simply replies "blasphemy".
yep...it was Qui-Gon Jinn. That was one of the moments I was looking forward to when Sith came out. I can't remember the specifics, but Liam Neeson was prepared to do the voice over but George Lucas decided not to put it in the movie before they filmed that part
i'm not a fan and not a hater but look at this new vid i found...it was really good actually http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/highschool-lightsaber-duel.html
I'm watching return of the jedi in work right now. luke and vader are battling, han and chewy are about to blow the deflector shield and I'm loving it. your thoughts betray you father.I feel the good in you, a conflict. there is no conflict. you couldn't bring yourself to destroy me before and I don't believe you will destroy me now. you underestimate the Power of the Darkside.if you will not fight, then you will meet your destiny.
Fun movie. And, of course, its original working title was Revenge of the Jedi, rather than Return of the Jedi (the trailers after The Empire Strikes Back all said that).
Can anyone guess the title of the fictitious film George Lucas used to ensure secrecy and disguise The Return of the Jedi???
http://www.sequentialpictures.com/moviestarwarsepisode3.html You have to download it to watch it but this is a hilarious "trailer" for the new star wars.
