Now imagine Plax on one side, Braylon on the other side, Santonio running the slot, Keller up the seam, and LJ in the flat. Then handing off to the Terminator!
After seeing this I decided to watch some Plax highlights on youtube. ridiculous. you almost forgot just how dominant this guy was. i like braylon a lot, but he's not plax if plax is himself.
He is 6'6 maybe a half inch shorter, still runs a 4.7 and has a 31 inch vertical, thats pretty damn impressive
I guess you're just not ready to declare that Plaxico is going to have a monster year, like a lot of the clairvoyant fans on here.
I'm not claiming he's going to have a monster year, but I think he can be the big piece the Jets have been missing, a tall red zone weapon. I personally don't think he's going to set the world on fire with receiving yards, but I think he could have a good # of TDs. Not to mention he's going to command attention in the red zone, which takes it off Holmes, Keller, LT, etc. I really don't expect him to be "the guy" between the 20's. When you have a 6'5" WR with long arms who can jump, you have to use extra resources to defend that in the red zone. You have to respect the jump ball to Plax.
Take a look at the factors He is a beast of a man A redzone threat like we have never had before The hunger to get back into it Says he is in fantastic shape A one year deal so if he plays well he may see a bigger pay day
Wow, that's quite impressive. Never really paid too much attention to Plax except for the NYG vs NE superbowl. I'm definitely excited to see him in pads.
