We started Blood and Sand last night (already watched season 2... backwards is how I roll, lol). They definitely had a smaller budget in the beginning, huh?
Season 2 (which the director doesn't refer to it as) was good but way too rushed. I literally watched the whole "season" this past weekend. I'm excited for season 3 (season 2 according to the director) with the new Spartacus.
Season 2 was great except for the gratuitous gayness. Sometimes I feel like these networks make it too big a part of their shows (Sopranos, Spartacus G.O.A, Rome). We know it was prevalent and more accepted in ancient Roman society, no need to hammer the point home.
Anyone keeping up with the new season? Its actually pretty good. Last season was a bit of a bore, but now they have brought the excitement back as Spartacus and company continue their wars against Rome.
