I would love Bowe, but not for any picks unless its 5th +. If we could give Tebow and maybe a 5th I would love that. Then cut Scott and Pace and Thomas use some money from them and give Bowe a contract. Draft Pace's replacement 1st round then RB second. After that best available for our needs (S, G, T). And of course cut Holmes whenever possible.

There are no players on the Jets' offense who the Chiefs would take in a trade for Bowe. Sorry, that's just the plain truth. Keller is a middle-of-the-road TE. Holmes is a nightmare and Pioli and Crennel are in KC and won't deal with his BS. And Sanchez? That's just crazy, sorry. No team would touch him (and his contract) with a 10-foot pole at this point. If the Jets cut him maybe someone would pick him up on a new deal, but he's not a valuable commodity.

If the Jets want Bowe, they'd have to trade picks, not players. Unless you want to give up Revis, of course!

    And the 'Phins have picks:

^ forgot to add that we already have replacements for Scott in Davis and for Thomas in Maybin.

If the Jets beat NE, then it would be worth a look with the bye week to get him settled. Not keen on them giving up much though.

not going to happen.already have holmes and his contract plus a 2nd invested in hill. bowe would put too many resources into one position.it would be ok for this year with holmes out but not going forward.
let hill develope and next year we will be fine with holmes hill kerley

    Unlikely.

    Unlikely-er.

The Chiefs will want picks, not players. And they'll get some desperate team to over-pay. Probably Miami, since they have a lot of extra higher-round picks from the Davis and Marshall trades.

Holmes for Bowe would be the ideal scenario...of course KC wouldn't take the burden of Holmes contract and his bullshit attitude, but even if he was with the team for only this year, to get rid of Holmes would be a positive in so many ways...Sanchez I feel will play better without Holmes plus I like our receivers team attitude and upside...Hill and Kerley have nice upside, plus don't mind run blocking...sign Keller back in the offseason, keep schillens...and if this trade were to happen, maybe Bowe signs with us for a few more years....Bowe, Hill, Kerley, Keller, Schillens...I'll take that...maybe Tebow for Jamaal Charles? Lol

I really hope Miami doesn't get this guy. A Tannehill-Bowe connection could potentially be dangerous.

This guy is generating a lot of attention. Second thread with good number of posts suggesting he be pursued. Bowe quit on a 4th down pass thrown in the air with the game on the line. He's got talent but I've got questions about his heart. Think he'd be a good fit for Jets talent-wise but after last seasons locker room disaster, I've got doubts Rex & crew can provide the right environment for him. Stick with what we have & keep giving Sanchez/Tebow/McElroy a chance to develop some chemistry with young receiver core.

Pace and Scott are cut next year regardless. As much as I'd love Bowe here, there is just no way we trade for him. The cap room just isn't there. We might be able to manage him for 2012, but there is absolutely no way we are able to keep him in 2013. Already have Holmes and his monster guaranteed contract. Going to be releasing several starters to accommodate salary cap. Need to hit on several draft picks to remain a playoff contender next year. Bowe is just not happening.

Thats about the only way we can get Bowe, but I doubt KC wants to trade one malfunction for a locker room cancer.

Maybin is not Thomas' replacement. He's a third down LB that can not stop the run. U don't want such liability one first and second downs. Jets are already weak in stopping the run.

Holmes has a negative factor so I'm not sure why you threw him in. KC would want only the pick.

Bowe is worth the pick. 3rd and another late rounder at the most.

Cap room...WHo knows, KC may want a reciver like tone, they already have another big body reciever in Baldwin, they need a true #2, and that Holmes.

Well one I heard myself, on NFL radio yesterday at around 5:00PM Jason Cole (of WQAM in South Florida) broke the news that the Dolphins were making a serious push for Bowe.
