If we can put points on the board, and stop ol' Willis we will def win. Pennington is playin way to smart for Buffalos secondary. Im not even worried about our run game. Just need numbers on the board and to play a full game
I think the only hope we have is to rattle Losman. He's young and nervous in the pocket. That said, if we can't generate a pass rush and they establish the run, then Losman will gain confidence. Doesn't look good IMO...
This team NEEDS to go 4-4 thru the first 8 games to have any shot at all. And to go 4-4 you need to win the games you are supposed to win. This would be one of those games.
The game comes down to can the jets stop the Bills running game. Our defense has yet to show up this year. We were awful against the leagues worst offense, Tennessee and we were even worse against NE. If we can stop their running game we can win. I don't expect our offense to do to well against the Bill's defense but if we can keep their offense off the field we can wear them down and win ugly. If they can run the ball on us we are dead. If we win there is reason to hope if we lose we are looking at 1-4 going into the Miami game. This year is a real oppurtunity we play the easiest schedule we will play for years. We play 8 games against the two worst division in football. If we can stay afloat until the Miami game we have enough quality players to make some noise with a weak schedule. The Buffalo game is almost a must win game.
if d'brick and keep seymore down 2 1 or 2 sacks, he will proberly shut down schobel. It was Matt Light's normal game back and he played really really off for the first half. in the second half he stopped schobel
I actually think that we can win this game. The Bills' defense has been ferocious, and they will be blitzing like crazy, but we have spent a hell of a lot of time working on the short game to compensate for the inexperience of the O-line. Losman is getting better, but he is still young and will make some mistakes. McGahee is McGahee, he's a tough bastard and hard to bring down, but if we can score points early we could minimize his effectiveness. This CS is new, but they are not Herm Edwards, and I think they are gameplanning correctly for the most part and when they don't they seem to be learning to adjust well. Execution is going to determine the outcome of the game. However, if our defense performs like they did against New England, we are toast.
Even if most of penningtons yards were YAC, hes still putting the ball where it needs to be and not turning it over. When Peyton Manning puts up great numbers he gets help from the WRs and YAC too its just part of the game. Pennington is definetly a smarter and better player than culpepper. their is a huge running problem though.
If we make losman have to win the game for the bills, we win. Gotta stop the run and win the battle in the trenches to finally win in buffalo.
we shut down BRADY in the second half. We nearly beat them and we are so young on the OL that it hurts at times yet we were in it to the end! Kendall will be back and so should TEAGUE! JETS will win 21 to 10 against a BILLS team led by an ARENA LEAGUE candidate! LOL
bills special teams need to be limited...and i wouldnt mind a big play from ours, that would make me feel a whole lot better
