It'll be something like 42-10. The Pats will put on their second string late in the 2nd qtr. We're all DOOOOOMED!!!!!!
The Pats putting in their second string? That's the most implausible thing I've read in this thread so far.
The Jets should just send 9 or 10 guys on every play. They have absolutely nothing to lose. If they stay back they will get beat on every pass or run anyway. If they send everybody they at least have a shot of causing some real damage. That WOULD get the Pats second string in early. On offense they should run every trick play ever devised. From the first down they get to the last. Everybody expects them to lose by 70 points anyway so by doing all of this it would keep things a lot closer and that would at least be a moral victory of sorts.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. What's the most typically Jets thing that could happen on Sunday??? A win, that's what. We suck this year, they are unstoppable......it's on their cabbage patch....it's all set up... We'll score some points, all the kickoffs they're going to be hitting, Leon will probably take 3 of them all the way back. If we can beat the spread, I'll take it...
Just for the FYI - That same player was screaming at the Pats during pregame warmups, calling them F'in A-holes and such...so it wasn't a mistake, they didn't reign the kid in and just let him keep jawing before the game. I mean, how stupid can you get?
He still is now that the game is over too. Saying they will meet them again in the playoffs and the Steelers will be ready next time...lol. I give him credit for standing by his convictions.
Actually, weather could and will play an important role in this game. There will be a big storm in the area. It will be a low scoring contest decided on good defense and being able to establish the run. This immediately puts us at a disadvantage. The spread is very safe; bet the house.
