Turner is the same person he was when he was drafted and he went in the 5th round. NO WAY we give up a first day pick for him. Oakland waited a year for lamont, the Jets will do the same.

Turner and Leon would be a step in the right direction.

Asante Samuel would give the Jets the ability to focus on the front 7 in the draft.

Michael Turner and Asante Samuel would be awesome.

I am not a huge fan of giving away our first round pick for Turner, but I think we can work a trade with SD.

    Samuel and Dyson at CB.
    Rhodes and Smith/Coleman at S...

Wow, that would be an amazing secondary.

Nice call. That's all it takes for Leon/Cedric to be a great tandem in the backfield. Plus maybe a nice lead blocking FB (Not a Brian Leonard).

None of these guys will be brought in. If they could get Samuel on the cheap then I would do it but he is either getting franchised or someone is giving him the bank. No need to give up a first round pick for Turner, he's not proven and our line is more important then the back. TBC is maybe someone I would sign as a backup but that's about it. He's never really proven he is a consistent player.
