The way Lawson has played this year he might be a bargain at 15 million next year and he is not at 100 percent yet and likely will not be until next year. I think JD will do all he can to keep that line together. Sign Q, keep Lawson, watch JJ, Huff and Clemons develop.

Love it. We might be on our way long term. Give me a young up and coming Kalih Mack if available, and the D will be lights out. As you pointed out C is a strong possibility, another stud like an AVT would rock, if there is a special WR to pair with Wilson that would be awesome too. I’m pumped

I think one thing we can certain of is JD will never stop drafting OL, DL and weapons for our QB. One other big bonus is possibly starting next year we might start looking a lot like Baltimore and Pittsburgh and start a long term plan of getting comp picks (for 2024 and on) each year. As we will not have money to sign many FAs and we likley lose at least a few.

While I wouldn't rule out or object to drafting another stud WR in the 1st, I think JD may look to add a top WR in FA to give some more experience to that group. GW has done great - above expectation - but with Davis out you can see the inexperience show.

Apparently, unlike the original premise that Fant would be available after the buy, latest report from Saleh indicates he will not be practicing this week at all. It seems his knee is not recovering, and there is some noise floating about that he might not be back this year at all. Hope I read that wrong.
Im disappointed to say the least. We needed reinforcements for our stretch run the last half of the season. If that is the case, I just don't see Fant with us next year. Another position up for grabs in the draft and or free agency.

If Fant isn't back with us resign Brown for reassurance. Fant wasn't at all happy with the back and forth through training camp and was aired out via the media.

C would be my guess of prio even with the loss of Fant

I wonder if JD will try to resign McGovern or look to upgrade through the draft. I haven’t looked at any C prospects yet….

I noticed that in the press conference. The look on Saleh’s face when he said Fant wouldn’t be practicing didn’t look favorable to Fant’s status. No further comment on it either.

He was pretty good in that 300 movie, and great in the GiJoe cartoons....

Brown is under contract next season. We signed him for 2 years.

Guys… we’re actually talking about the offensive line and not assuming we need to bring in 4 or 5 replacements! It’s happening!!!!

Herbig's absence from the O-Line today was huge. Hope he's back for the Bears next week.
