So why did we get rid of Mawae?

    I tell you what- everyone says that Mawae would have been a good presence for Mangold to have around- I buy into that to some degree, but our new chap has been fareing pretty well for himself, better than Brick if my observations serve me correctly.

    Kendall to his left is enough for Mangold to get the "on the job" training that he needed.

    There was no need to keep an over-the-hill locker room virus, coming off a season ending injury, on this squad when we had a guy with Mangold's upside on the horizon.
