I'm not sure that is entirely true. I think also McElroy wasn't trusting what he saw and was afraid of turning the ball over. In the overhead replays that Gannon was trying to telestrate how no WRs were open end up showing the opposite. In each occurrence I was an open WR. I know one Braylon was open on an out route in the near side of the field and another a TE was left all alone in the flat in the far side. There was another play where McElroy threw a one hopper to Gates on his left and as he was trotting off the field it appeared as though Sanchez and Sparano were telling him that Edwards or someone was open to his right.

Basically, this disaster was a combination of things as all have been this year.

We are talking as if the Jets have already traded away Tebow.

No MclRoy just sucks to Sanchez hasn't been sacked 11 times in the last 5 games combined. It was a meaning less game any way who really gives a shit if we end up 8-8 or 6-10 what does it matter. Its better this way we will have a higher draft pick rather then 2 meaningless wins. Not to mention the defense looked horrible today ontop of everything else and we gave up a punt return for a TD as well

No matter how much we want to ignore it, Santonio's presence at least gave the D something to think about and forced double coverage on various plays. Then the Keller absence n Hill injuries. We had backup starters at every skill position besides RB. McElroy wasn't going to light it up. Receivers were not getting separation n OL suddenly forgot how to block. This unit mailed it in n it's sad to see such a defensive unit suffer.if only we had Santonio n a half decent QB, we would have been fine n right in the mix for the playoffs. Having Revis would have made a world of a difference. We'll get Revis n Santonio back next year but I hope we go after a vet, n draft a QB high in the draft.

I haven't heard about the rumors. All I've heard that Jags will 'consider Tebow' if he's available (not sure if released or available for trade). Was there something else to the story or that's what you were referring to?

This team reminds me of the Ravens teams before Flacco. Defensive team with talent geared to defensive side of the ball. The O was anemic.

How do you go from one of the best offensive line to one of the worst in two years???

I want Tannenbum FIRED once the final gun of next week's game.

11 sacks is the mark of a REALLY bad team.

After tonight's game, I imagine T will be let go after the Jets lose to the Bills so they can start the interview process ASAP.

At least we don't end up last place due to tiebreakers. That way we won't have the revenge of Tim Tebow.

I'd be surprised if the Jets get anything for Tebow. Jags know he'll get released so if they even go after him at all, Jets will get left out.

I agree the offensive line mailed it today. How Brandodn Moore made a Pro Bowl is a mystery to me. If he wasn't getting blown up by a defensive lineman he was blocking his own tackle Howard.

He butt sacked McElroy on one play. Does that make 2 butt sacks for Moore? Wasn't it his butt that knocked out Sanchez and caused a fumble? If he i not Pro-Bowl worthy, his butt certainly deserves at least honorable mention at DT.

First of all, this was his first start. He is a redshirt rookie, who only this week got any real reps with the 1st team.

Second, do you really believed that he looked like Sanchez out there? His pocket presence, and movement was pretty damn good. His decision making outside of one play was outstanding.

Lastly, he was playing against a defense that pinned their ears back all day.

True, Sanchez usually panics and makes an ill advised throw instead of eating the sack. What neither QB seems to understand is moving out of the pocket and throwing the ball away. But Gmac gets a benefit of a doubt at this point as a low round pick with very limited rep time.

But at least Gmac knows how to complete a screen pass and get it to the reciever so that the reciever can do something with it after the catch instead of having to dive or leap for it.

From what I saw in this game, I think the Jets are playing to get Manti T'eo

After GMac wakes up in the morning black and blue from head to toe, he may reconsider the wisdom of 'taking one for the team' versus throwing into triple coverage.

Next week he'll have 1 sack and 11 ints, then take some bikini model out clubbing.
