Yeah (LOL), is that all? Sure we don't want to throw in a $40 million lottery ticket for good measure?

I was thinking the same thing. Its not possible for 5-6 teams not counting the eventual division Champions to tank every game remaining; also taking into concideration that they play each other along the way. Its done ! This season will be known as the too little too late 2007 season.

well... do I really think they can run the table? no. but it is amazing what a little confidence can do to a team. these are players who have been embarrassed... called one of the worst in the league, and they just beat one of the top teams. now they get a national stage.... interesting to see if they can use it.

They don't need to. They can win the next 5 super bowls with what they already have.

No they can't. The NFL reels teams back in to the middle as the average star approaches 30 and the Pats are finally getting there. Adalius Thomas and Randy Moss were the huge additions this year and they are already at the magic number.

ill trade a loss in everygame and a quarter of next season if we end the Pats dream of being undefeated.

sad but true - I'd probably sign up for this. Only on the condition that in the victory we expose some sort of flaw that allows them to fall from their Goliath status for the playoffs.

There's no way of knowing if the FO would want either of these guys anyway. If anything, the FO has shown to be unpredictable.

I want wins, and I'd want to beat you guys and the cheaters even if it meant we lost out on a top 5 pick.

They're hoping for the top draft pick - that way they can select a Ginn clone!

Funny thing is Miami's season may actually hinge on whether some really good dope shows up or not in the Miami area and sends their soon to be running back heading for the hills once again. hahahahahah has to suck even thinking of signing Williams back

If we run the table, the odds of making the playoffs are slim to none. But hey, that is what we are all cheering for, that slim chance! If the jets play like they did yesterday (and somehow beat new england...) it is a definite possiblity, as crazy as it sounds, for the jets to finish 8-8 this year. Not that I would expect playoffs after that, I just think it would be great to finish .500 after the way this season started.

What he said. I have seen my share of 8-8 type seasons and one and done in the playoffs. I would like to see the SB and we need better players. Yes the draft is crapshoot, but I would feel better about the future if we had a very low draft pick that the mgt. can use to choose a player or trade for multiple players. I can deal with close competitive games that end in a loss (this year).

Look what you guys have done...(Just kidding RobA)

Any real Jets fan would root for his team to win no matter the record.

I hope we win a couple of more and go out on a positive note...

Hopefully we can address the pass rushing OLB position we desperately need with our first pick in the draft by taking Vernon Gholston...He would be our Ware/Merriman

And we wouldn't need a top 5 pick for him.
