Absolutely. Belichick like's his legacy. Anyone who's been in the league a long time like him wants to be part of that history. I also think that Belichick appreciates what Brady brought to the Superbowls if only because he prides himself on being an "objective" coach type but sure he want the credit he thinks he's due.
All I know is, I REALLY want this game tomorrow night. There'd be nothing better in front of a national, Jets-hating audience. Peter King included, especially after he enjoyed his pre game dinner with the Belichick/Kraft family. I hope Rex uses tape of the buttfumble to fire the boys up, though I doubt he'd embarrass Mark like that in from of the team.
