So, I heard that Jets fans are obsessed with the Patriots.

    Bingo.

Belichick will probably retire the same year Brady does for exactly that reason- whoever their next QB is won't be nearly as good as Brady and they won't automatically win the division title every year without him. They will have to struggle without their big offensive playmaker, and I don't think Belichick will want to be exposed.

They will lose their star HoF QB who carries the team every year, their Head Coach, and their GM all in the same year. They will instantly go from "the best team in the AFC" to like, an expansion team. There will be an enormous power vacuum when Belichick leaves, in both the coaching and front office realms. And the team will lose its leader, it's best player, the guy who the whole team was built around. All in the same year.

And one downside to NE's hurry-up offense is that Brady is getting hit more than he would if they ran a more traditional offense. More plays per game means more opportunities for him to get hit, which means he's getting beaten up more per season. I don't wish him any harm or injuries, but I'm just sayin' that running that many plays is going to knock a year or two off of his career. He's not going to play 'til 45 or 50 like he said on the radio, that's just crazy talk. Maybe he plays until 41 or 42, but at some point his release is going to be a bit slower, or he'll get injured on some idiotic QB sneak play that Belichick likes to run in the 4th quarter when they're leading by 20 points.

Jet fans really are a bitter bunch ^^^

Maybe it's because the team has been a joke for much of the decade?

Maybe it's because the fans are stupid and realize how dumb they are for telling everyone how great Marky Mark was?

Maybe it's because they talked up Rex as a good HC, when he's actually a terrible HC. No clock or game management, literally clueless about 2/3 of the team, talks but never backs it up, poor leadership and development of his players and it goes on and on...

Or was it all that talk about Tanny being the man? When he always sucked.

These things happened. Jet fans are clueless. Maybe the dumbest in football.

Looks like somebody decided to self-destruct. Probably best, since you have nothing to offer, idiot.

It's a combo, I've never felt Brady was a system guy. He is a great QB in a great system. It's like when Warren Moon was in the Run and Shoot, it fit perfectly with his skill set. Moon never had the defense to back up his skills like Brady had and if the rules were in place to help the offense the way they are now Moon probably wins a SB or at least makes one.

That being said Matt Cassell won 11 games in that same system. Below average QB in that same system. It also helps that Bellichick knew exactly what pieces woudl fit into his system, Welker, Edelman, Douchekowski, Corey Dillon, Randy Moss.

That was Belichick's first coaching job. (plus the team left town to go to Baltimore) It's different now. I think he might try it without Brady.

Amazing all the hate for the Pats, Beli, Brady considering they have absolutely owned the jets during their era. The jets will never get over this era when they were owned by the Pats. I mean it must suck knowing you have no shot year after year. Why even bother? I get it.

Yeah, I kind of think he would, too. I don't think it would last more than a few years if he didn't find the right QB, though.

Who the hell is this bitch ass troll?

Someone smack this fool with a banhammer...I think it speaks volumes that he calls the Jets fans the most clueless in football and that we have had no success against the Pats. Yet, he keeps writing comments worthy of someone to poop on.

Where the hell were you when the Pats lost against us last time in the playoffs?

Also, the Pats are 19-9 against us since 2000 numbnuts, that is not complete domination.
Jets being 7-0 vs the Buccs or the Pats record vs the Bills is domination.

    Educate yourself.

Yep. I'm sure he'd want to see how he'd do without Brady but not if he had some stiff to deal with.

  12. If we're so clueless & so much of a joke why are you even here?

Surely the high & mighty Patriots and their fans have better things to do than waste their breath on clueless lowly Jet fans?

You're a moron & a hypocrite. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. You & the rest of the cheats up in sticksville will get just what's coming to you once Tommy terrific retires.

While we're on the subject of jokes..here's another tidbit for a laugh. Your whole fan bases desperate rationalization for spygate in which you tried to turn the entire thing around on Mangini for being some sort of "Rat". But hey...I guess that means shit to you guys cause you can justify the whole operation based on a quote from Jimmy Johnson.

Mr Green, how much have the Pats won since spygate? Not much, huh? Poor Belichick isn't that good of a coach once his cameras are taken away.
And you call him "Beli"?? Lol that's a cute little nickname I guess.

That's how fake their fanbase is...front runners every year..lol
They don't realize that Rivalries and Divisional opponents tend to get spoken about more.

In all fairness thant would just be a normal thread but the fact they constantly talk about the JETS means there is actual fear there.
I honestly don't give a monkey's nuts to what they think.

The Media penciled them another crown already.
    Their fanbase is a joke
They are 1 hard sack away from being the doorstep of the AFC.

This makes no sense. Lets see 2 Super Bowl appearances, 3 afc championships, 5 division titles and double digit wins every year since. Ya they are horrible all teams should be this horrible. People seem to think its a cake walk to make it to the Super Bowl let alone win one,no matter how good a coach and qb are it's friggin hard. Oh and if Rex Ryan had these stats as a hc he would be the greatest HC since 1969.

I always thought Bill is a little arrogant (not a bad thing in sports) and he'll want to prove he can win without Brady. He did surprise a bunch of people getting a Matt Cassell led team to 11-5, but I think he'll want to show everyone up and show that it wasn't Brady.

That's because he doesn't want to look like an idiot when he misspells his name.

I think you are right. Herm Edwards gave it a shot without Chad Pennington. I mean the similarities are right there if you think about it.
