Yeah, that's funny. I kind of like it like that, it's as if there's the color part that they divide, while the play by play is Tirico's, and they ignore it. Somehow it works. I think Gruden and Jaws together break down the game better than anyone. Really. They both know the game as well as anyone, better than most. Unlike some here who accuse Gruden of being too positive, I like his enthusiasm. Tirico is at least average as the play by play guy. He avoids gaffs. I also like Kolber and Tafoya. Unlike most women announcers, they seem to know something about the game, especially Michelle. On the whole this group is one of the better ones right now. Much better than when Al Michaels was still doing MNF. And Kornheiser and Miller are mere bad memories. Could be alot woise.
Gruden is too much of an ass kisser. He should just call the game and he'd be great. Jaws talks too much. Tirico is useless. Three men in a booth to call a game is 1 too many.
THIS! I used to really like Gruden, but he's now among the biggest deep throaters in the league, and I am just waiting for his dick sucking of Tom Brady for the entire game. I am not excited about that.
They are light years better than the NFL networks cast of retarded clowns. Amongst broadcasters as a whole, they are very good, no one is truly great these days. It's not like we have the luxury of a have a Keith, Ron and Gary for the Jets.
Gruden is fucking annoying with his relentless praise of literally everyone. Jaws is alright. Tirico is alright. Average crew. Tolerable.
Agreed. If wasn't going tot he game, I'd have it on mute for much of the game. I'm taping it so I can watch his interview of the week, probably Danny Woodhead. My guess is it will be historically annoying, even for Gruden.
I'm going to say this once. I want you to listen. Monday Night Football Sucks..... Period. It's not my opinion. It's a fact. The game ends after 11 on a work night. You get fu*ked. Your team loses a day getting ready for their next game They get F*cked. The announcers routinely blow. Every one gets F*ked.

Honestly, I can't stand them - I mean I like them all individually but as a broadcasting trio they're the absolute worst for me. I think it's the style though. Gruden is an expert but as mentioned he just LOVES everyone and never says anything critical. Jaws gets stuck on a point and won't get off it, and Tirico is just average, nothing special for me. The worst part I think is they're always laughing at something and it's never funny.. I think I'm in the minority with my broadcaster preferences though because I'm actually a big fan of Nantz and Simms and even more the hated Buck and Aikman (despite Aikman's knack of making up words)
Geez, what's with the hating on Gruden? So he's not dissing everyone in sight. I disagree he never criticizes. It's just more subtle, like damning with faint praise. The guy knows football as much as anyone, and it shows.
Gruden is the Paula Abdul of the MNF announce team. Nobody works harder than Jamarcus Russell....I mean...I'll tell ya....this guy is a LOAD, Jaws.
