I'm so happy that the Patriots lost. Plain and simple.

I had this whole conversation with my dad before. I'm a Jets fan, and only root for the Jets. Tonight, I was pulling for the Giants to win. They did, and now it's sunken in that the Giants are the Champions until next season, while the Jets were sitting home with a 4-12 record on the season. We share a stadium with them! All of us Jets fans now have to suffer through the Giants fans.

The one thing I'm truly happy about is that Belichick did not win. Brady too, but when you have a coach that is as scum as he is, then I'm glad he didn't get another ring. (I'm making a thread on that).

... So, when is Yankees pitchers and catchers?

Feel however you felt as soon as Plax caught the TD with :35 left. If that were The Colts or Chargers I'd be laughing my ass off right now.

I have hated those bastards since the day the chicken and his crumbled up Denny's napkin resigned as HC of the NY Jets. You know Cheese and Macaroni tampered to get him there and throw in all the insults of cheating, arrogance, scumbags like Harrison and Moss being knighted by the media. The Giants have never done that to me, 2 of my best friends are Giant fans. Let them have thier fun because we all know that this still isn't on par with what Weeb and Namath did.....

Did you REALLY watch his final drive? He shouldn't have to pick up a tab in New York for the rest of his life. Tom Brady led the Patriots to its first Super Bowl by getting the offense in field goal position. Manning punched it in. He deserves some credit. If Asante Samuel - a Jets target- catches Manning's high throw on the last drive, maybe I feel different. But I say this because I was rooting for the Giants and also don't have to deal with "elitist" Giants fans.

I live in boston. We may have to deal with some of this the on TGG but i can PROMISE you the arrogance of the team and its fans is the absolute worst. I am one of the happiest people in the world tonight because i get to celebrate (a patriots loss) in this city while everybody cries themselves to sleep, which beleive me they are doing. The silence after the final TD around me is something i will cherish until the grave. I'm so happy these assholes finally get to EAT THEIR WORDS. HAHAHAHAHAHA

There was no better image to than seeing Belichick walking off the field. That made rooting for the Giants very easy.

Man, i feel great today. It was hard at the beginning, but once they started to kick brady?s ass, i?ve been rooting for the Giants as much as i ever rooted for the Jets.

If somebody would have told me, that i would like a Giants SB-Victory one year ago, i would have laughed, and said:"Not even if they beat the Patriots!" But i never feeled nearley as good as today, after a SB.

    Thanks Giants.

Your team just lost a SB, where they were 12 points favorites and you don?t really seem to care. What a Fan...

Now that I've had a day to sit back and digest what happened, I have to say the thing that brings the most joy to me is the silence of all the so called "experts" Who had lined up to suck off Bellicheat and Brady and have a Coronation of them as the Greatest team (coach) of all time. The entire game, you could hear how Mr Buck wanted N.E.* to win. I wonder how Peter King is going to spin this one. To watch them stew will be worth all the angst that I'll have to take from Giants fans because they won and the Jets stink.

We don't deserve cack....The Giants D last night played with such ferocity that the Pats withered before our very eyes. The O made the big plays when they needed to.

We "want" a Superbowl victory but we don't "deserve" anything when you consider how piss poor our team played last year.

Time to get over it- the better NY team won and they and their fans should savor every minute of it. The bonus is of course that they killed the Pats.

I agree tp an extent. Giants fans were intolerable before they won the Superbowl, imagine how theyre going to be now. Not to mention all the people who will hop on the bandwagon. The good thing is the Pats lost, I can take solace in that.

Either outcome wasnt going to be good.
