I think the question of who plays next to him will be answered via the draft. At these in a year or two that drafted guy will play next to him, for this upcoming year, we appear set to go with Elam... Great news that Rhodes is locked up, but really how many people were freaking out thinking he wasnt going to be here next year? like we didnt have a franchise tag or a year to negotiate. I didnt think this would be resolved until midseason, but to have it done before the draft is the best news we have had since we signed Richardson.

Hah, if you thought that Kerry would ever leave NYC? Hes one of the rare ones who actaully seems to relish the spotlight. He became the face of the jets after Vilma went down, this is great news, although he might have had a beast year in a contract year!
This is great news. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but after the last couple of Jet/Pat games Belichik made a bee-line to Kerry Rhodes to talk to him. He was licking his chops, with Harrison getting near retirement, you know he had his sites on him.
