This thread went from- "we can now implement a running style different and more physical than last year" to the QB debate yet again. I looked at Clemens 1st year compared to Eli Manning's 1st year and they were pretty similar... go on NFL.com and compare the two, its an interesting comparison.
How is Chad a winning QB still? A rookie (in terms of experience) that has "happy feet and bounces balls" won 3 times more games than he did last season, with the same O-Line, with less receivers, in two less games.
I think you have to expect that when the most important position on the team is still a question mark, though. If we hadn't made any moves we'd still have constant threads about DT, OLB, OL, etc. I saw promise with Clemens, and he was a young QB thrown to the wolves at mid-season with a crappy OL, but there were a lot of negatives to his game that you don't want to see from your QB. Time will tell better than any fan on a message board can.
