have you even watched him play? the guy was a pretty good starter for philly last season and he's a playmaker who can play safety as well. i didnt say he's champ bailey but he will come in cheap and could compete for a starting job right away
Yep, I'm really hoping we sign this guy Randy Starks. He's only 23 (!!!), and he looks like he'd be the PERFECT 3-4 end to replace Kimo. Signing this guy would be like gaining an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick.
I used to like Starks as a potential NT candidate because he's put on weight and now comes in at like...317 I think. Still, he's long and not "stout" enough for that. He is PERFECT as a 3-4 end. So is Haynesworth. Those two would be two of the better 3-4 ends in the league if they ever wanted to make that kind of switch.
yes i have watched him play. he's terrible. i wouldn't have such a strong opinion on a player if i hadn't seen him. i don't know what you're talking about him being a playmaker. he's not an improvement over any player we currently have. plus, we have the money to sign a decent CB if we're going to sign one. why waste the time on hood? he doesn't make plays and he would not compete for a starting job at all. if we were to keep barrett and poteat on the team, both would easily be ahead of hood.
roderick hood. i'm well aware of who he is. one of my best friends is an eagles fan. i know who he is. i've watched him play many times. he flat out sucks. if you think he's an improvement, tell me why. b/c i don't see it. i see a waste of money and time. but yea, if you're the gm, go ahead and pick this guy up. you'll see why the eagles wouldn't want him even cheap.
by the way, i told him about what you think of roderick hood...he'll probably post on here within the next couple hours if he's not too lazy...i figure u'll listen to an actual eagles fan over me anyway
Great. My fake Eagles buddy who works for Phillys front office will appear on this board tomorrow as well and he will tell you that Hood is the best CB in the NFL. By the way the Eagles put a 1st round tender on him last season. Yeah, he must suck really BAD. Watch him get a starting job elsewhere. I just guess you should contact those front offices and tell them they're making a huge mistake.
Ohhhh those front offices? You make it sound like you always know things ahead of everyone. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me. If he earns a starting job on the Jets (or the Eagles) i'll eat my hat. He sucks. You can say what you want about him. But he absolutely sucks.
