I'd like to think it was that easy, you don't mention quiting and suicide because you aren't the best. There are tons of guys who come from places where they are the best youth players, best high school players and great college players that turn out to stink in the NFL. Certainly Reggie Bush is on that list and he doesn't want to kill himself.

I think Vince has some serious issues, I don't care for him as a player but you certainly don't want to see him throw his life away because he has something mentally wrong. His mom should have kept her mouth shut but I certainly pray that he gets himself together.

I didn't think VY could beat USC, then I didn't think he could make it in the NFL and he proved me wrong both times and then I became a fan. I remember what the Titans were like before he stepped in midseason and they were a sorry team. He single-handedly turned that team around.
I'm sorry he's having emotional issues-many people have them but I don't know how he can continue as a QB in the NFL with them. So, may he prove me wrong again!

    Vince Young-QB- Titans Sep. 14 - 10:32 am et

NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Vince Young asked out of the Titans' playoff loss last season.

Schefter says Young didn't want to play in the second half and had to be pushed by the coaching staff to come out of the tunnel. The Titans lost 17-6.
