All I wanted is to see them win the game so whatever JWN & Ewbank did in that game was more then OK for me. From then to KC loss at the end of the next season was the GREATEST time to be a NYJ fan. CHampions of the FB world, Raise the Championship flag, Parade up Broadway then whomped up on the NYGs in the 1st ever game played between the clubs. I really do not think anybody can grasped that feeling unless you experience it personally
So you are acknowledging you have no proof & you refute your statment right? Well based on your posts I would be really concerned with the medical boards if you were really a shrink
Champ has been coming around lately so dont bust his balls to much. These days you can even catch some postive posts from him. Its how you know the team is moving in the right direction. Everyone here needs to play a there part
Yes it surely was good stuff. I worked downtown @ 25 Broadway so I got to meet some of the NYJs face to face which made it even better. The parade went from the Battery to City Hall where they were given the keys to the city. You are welcome on sharing that
I was not frustrated in 68/69 when Wberlin was a paty owner & was in charge of the team. The quick downhill ride to the crapper started the second Leon Hess became the majority owner of the team & has not changed from that day forward
