I like Lelie, he's young and would be a very good #3. We could use his big play ability, as of now we don't have anyone who can get down the field like he can.

    Oh for crying out loud!

Eric Mangini wouldn't sign a player if he noticed he had a speeding violation on his driving record.

You've just proven my point. He's young and can be a very good #3 receiver, but he's flopped in terms of being a star type WR and lacks both the ambition and concentration to be much better then he already is. On the right offense, he can pad nice stats; I'll give you that.

Mangini would never take a flyer on this kid, sorry.

I doubt that. Do you disagree with what I said? Why?

That is part of the problem he is having with the Broncos. He views himself as a #1 receiver and the Broncos obviously wont guarantee him anything.
Lets just say the Jets do trade for him and put him in the #3 spot behind Coles and Jmac but battlilng with Cotch for that #3 spot.
I give it 1 day before he is bitching to the papers about why he should automatically be the #1 WR.
The guy would be nothing but problems. I would much rather have Cotch and Dwight as the backups.

This guy sneezes and pulls a muscle.

He's like a softer, more disappointing version of JMac. We don't need to find guys iwth the same problems we need to find guys who fill in those gaps. This is not our guy.

No. I agree completely that Mangini wouldn't get him, I'd just like for him to maybe take a chance for once on a guy without perfect character.
