I don't think a UDFA can cause all these problems you guys talk about until maybe he makes the team.

Of course, we really do not need a QB, and that's a valid point since we have 3, and have an extra to cut (Bollinger)

even recently I read an article about Michael Vick criticizing his brother. "he expected everything to be handed to him because he's my brother, and he had to find out the hard way", "theres nobody to blame but him for the situations he put himself in"

but he also said that his brother seems to have learned how the real world works, but he has alot of work ahead of him.

so basically when Ron Mexico calls you irresponsible, thats a red flag. especially when your his brother.

Another Prick, uh I mean Vick? NO WAY JOSE!

Besides, we have Brad Smith who can be our emergency QB...and he's FAST!

i would try him out since he was first round talent bofre he got kicked out of tech.

he had more potential than leinart and young.

people were comparing him to his brother but he has better knowledge of when to pass and when to run

the only problem is...we dont need another backup qb

    finds trouble, cut him.

Everyone here mentioned how he'd hurt team chemistry... one of the most overrated things in sports. (Yes, it's important, but it doesn;t make a shitty team good). He'd be an UDFA. If he causes any grief, cut him.

We don't need him. He sealed his own fate with stupidity.

McNabb and T.O. hated each other, but they could still play together

(i hate to keep bringing this up but...)

    100% serious.

Chemisty is not going to make a shitty team good. It's also not going to make an awesome team blow. It can boost your performance a little, or hurt it a little but you still need talent.

Definitely not a good example because in 04' T.O. and McNabb got along with each other...once T.O. disputed his contract the following year the Eagle team went up in flames. One bad thing after another...a perfect example of what happens to a team when chemistry isn't there

Umm, not really. You do realize that in order to get to the SB, McNabb did it for 8 weeks without TO around, right?

Agreed that chemistry is only one piece of the puzzle, but I would argue that it is just as important as talent. If talent won championships without chemistry, the Yankees would receive a ring every April.

    Uh. No.

Based on his college performance his "scrambling ability" in the NFL would be strictly average. While slightly more accurate then his brother his passing ability is still poor. Someone would've taken a chance on him in the very late rounds if he hadn't had all his problems, but there's no way he would've been drafted in the first round.

Marcus Vick doesn't belong on an NFL roster, and it has nothing to do with his off the field antics.

Something we agree on. "Chemistry" sure is an easy way to blow off a terribly disappointing season though, especially when you can make a scapegoat out of a guy on his way out of town.

ColezDeep!, you're confusing the cause for the effect here. The team went up in flames, with the injuries and just general poor play, and then the TO nonsense started, not the other way around.

I think we cut Penney, Bollinger and Ramsey then sign Vick, trade for Mcpherson with NO and resign Terstaverde. Vin can mentor to the young guys and keep them out of trouble. Clemens should be ready to go all the way this year with help from the "Old Master", after all he has 15 or so starts at Oregon which is enough for the AFC East. If all else fails B. Smith can play both QB and wideout at the same time and we can start another tackle to help block.
