When has he truly exibited this talent you speak of? He's not as fast or elusive as his brother, and he's a jerk. He isn't going to play QB, and would be a run of the mill WR. He is of no use to the Jets. The Falcons will take him in the 7th round as a favor to Ron Mexico.

No we can't take Vick. The guy is a proven dickhead. He's not even that good.

That was before the salary cap bro. You couldn't put that team together in 2006. The salary cap came into existence because of the Cowboys basically.

Vick has no place on the Jets. Period.

That why all the experts say if he didn't have character issues he would be a late 1st or 2nd pick.

What experts have said that?? All I kept hearing on ESPN at the end of yesterday was about how he never showed the potential that he claims to have. The #1 person who thinks he could be a 1st round pick, is Marcus Vick.

Mel Kiper, Jaws said he would had been a late 2nd round or early 3rd round pick if he didn't have the problems.

Hell no. We have Penny, Ramsey, Clemens, Bolly (even though he's gonna be released) and now B. Smith as emergency QB. I don't even need to bring up the character issue. If you look at all the player bios of everyone we've picked, they all mention the high character quality they all possess. Vick obviously doesn't fit the mold.

HA. Right. Maybe if he grew 3 inches, got a strong arm, some semblence of accuracy, poise, and actual intelligence.

Aren't you the Clarrett guy?? Why in the hell do you want these terrible players with severe mental problems?? Marcus will never be anything in the NFL, he might as well go to Canada and never, ever come back.

Weren't you the one that was raving out how Clarrett was the steal of the draft last year? Vick is a bum, and will always be a bum. I wouldn't even sign that clown as an UDFA.

actually he has a strong arm, and he is usually pretty accurate, he has a few kinks to be worked out in his motion, but he would actually be a decent QB in a year or two, the problem is his self control.

I'd sooner bring Kordell Stewart out of retirement.

i would in the 7th, but our FO will almost 100% disagree...look at their picks so far man....and by the way, i absolutely love the brad smith pick, he is a huge playmaker, and i can def. see us getting him in some plays this season to use his skills.......come to think of it, our 3rd and 4th rounds should have flip-flopped, and everyone would be happy

His arm isn't strong. It isn't weak, but it's not even on the same planet as his brother's. No better than Clemens, it's just solid, meaning it's not at the level to make up for where he's lacking. He's just flat out inaccurate, you even get a hint of pressure on him, he won't complete a pass. At about 5-11, he's got no pocket presence, and is constantly forced to move around; and, rather inconviently for him, he's worthless as a QB on the run. Also, factor in his mind, which is barely HS QB level, not a good option.
