It would probably only cost our 2 first rounders and a second

Its sound good but you cant do it. Everybody knows they work with a point value system for getting trades done. To move from 4 to 1 would cost the Jets at least the 29, 35 and probably there 1st pick in the second. Of course that all depends upon if the texans would even settle for that. This would be complete suicide if they did it. Know way this will happen.

I'd really love to see bush on this team and wouldn't be upset if we did move up (would cost the #4, #29, and #35) but I'd rather us trade down and gather more picks. We can get a great back in DeAngelo who may even end up being better than bush in the long run.

I would not say anything negative if we went up and got him, even at 2 if it is totally clear that Houston will pass him up.

However, if we stay where we are and make good picks I will be equally hapyy.

If we get Bush I will be excited, but it we develop the line and get a RB or LB or even a CB I will be content.

I really want Cromartie, a 6'2 corner with the skills he shows is hard to com e by.

If Houston really does not want to take Bush and that becomes known, I think the "draft chart" goes out the window. We could make a reasonable offer and if they do not take it so be it. I would offer no more than 4 and our #1 next year.

If the Texans don't draft Bush I might have a stroke.

They pretty much threw the last 8 games of the season to draft the guy. If something could make them sour so badly on him in this short a timespan then all of the sudden I'd become a little worried about him.

That being said it's not going to happen so I don't know why I'm wasting my time.

The Texans are taking Bush. They're trying to soften up his agents and his contract demands. This is all a smokescreen related to the dollar signs on his rookie contract.

He's too good to pass up. I'd give up quite a few picks for him.

At this point, all trades will probably wait until draft day and if Bush does fall to #2, do you think the Saints are gonna pass on him? I doubt it. And if they are willing to trade, it will still cost us more than the #2 pick is currently worth.
