Gibril was a good player in that giants defense. He made a lot of impact plays.

WHen he signed in oakland, it was all downhill from there. I don't know if its a work ethic issue or slowed down by injuries but he's nowhere near the same player. He was AWFUL last year in miami, possibly one of the worst safeties in the league. He got torched in coverage repeatedly and probably lost them a couple of games singlehandedly

he's not a good player anymore. pass

LaMont Jordan got a 5 year 28 million dollar deal to be the backup there.
DeAngleo Hall got something like a 7 year 70 million dollar deal.
Then he got Gibril Wilson a 6 year 40 million dollar deal from the Raiders, then he was cut in one season. Dolphins gave him 27 mil over 5 years with 8 mil guranteed. Keels has literally made a living off getting players signed in Oakland....that's really why I wondered and I am not suprised one bit.

2 big deals, cut 2 years in a row with an agent that regularly gets his players overpaid. Are those of you who want the Jets to sign him high?

There's a reason why three teams let him walk.
