There's really no question here, if you live close to it. You def make that trip and have a GREAT time watching them clinch the PO's
Thanks for that. Looks like we are headed to either Hawkeye's or to this place which happens to be around the block from my hotel: http://www.jimmygreens.com/index.html Hope to see lots of other folks in green out there.
Chicago's a great city. Make a weekend of it and go to the Field Museum and check out Sue the T-Rex in honor of our coach!
I'm getting more and more pumped I'm going to this now that I've got Christmas pretty much under control. I land at O'Hare 7:30 am Sunday, taking a cab to the field where my friends will be setting up their tailgate. It's been in the plans for a few years, Christmas threw it a curve but I'm going to this fucker. Also, I'm 2-0 lifetime on the road, not counting what was technically a Giants home game in 1987.
Drove back overnight, had a great time, except for losing. My Chicago boys hooked me up, check out these seats--4th row behind the Bears bench.
Walked from my friend's house to the L train, took that to O'Hare. Rented a car, drove to Newark, 13 hours, got a ticket in Indiana (83 in a fucking 70). Turned in the car at Newark, took the monorail to the bus to my car, dug it out of two feet of snow, 30 minutes, drove home. Nothing to it. :breakdance:
