    Huge relief for us on the suspension. I'm guessing it came down the way it did because there were no drug charges filed related to the incident. People complaining about Richardson not getting slammed are nuts. This is the best possible result for us and it puts Richardson on notice that the next time he's going to go down hard, hopefully that will mean no next time.

    He was only charged with speeding and resisting arrest and the resisting charge is all the NFL had tp base a suspension on which is why it was only one game.

    He just used up his Get Out of Jail Free card, and he's going to get smacked if there is a next time.

    I'm sure the Pats fans are whining up a storm, but it's not like Sheldon cheated or murdered anyone. Stay classy Pats.

    I'm pretty sure that's up in the air. It's just turning July. I'm thinking he'll be ok.

    Also, it looks like I'm alone on this, but I wasn't expecting a suspension at all.

    He did way too much dumb shit to now have a suspension. Roger's biggest fear is looking weak on "social issues." I'm actually SHOCKED it's only one game.

    I'm not surprised, or upset. I just figured if he was getting suspended for this, it should have been last year.

    I believe it has soemthing to do with letting it play out legally. I know because of the union preemptive suspensions on legal matters are a mine field.

    Right. I figure that's why. It's just frustrating to see an incident from before last season have a negative effect on this season.
