    Is there anything worse then listening to Francesa pat himself on the back while Omar murders the English language? I don't know if I've ever heard any native speaker struggle so much.

    That's an entirely different matter. As I said, I don't think he'll be any good, and if he isn't but they hold onto him, I'll be pissed. I'm really not sure where the role is for him - Manuel has talked up Murphy as the regular LFer and #2 hitter, and if Tatis and Church platoon in RF, where does Scheffield play?

    My hope at this point is that if he sucks he bitches about not playing, so they release him; if he doesn't suck, no problem.

    Is there any thread that Buck Rogers won't hijack?

    For 400,000 it's not a terrible move. If he can get healthy and hit 15 HRS than it's a great move. What kills me is they refuse to go after guys like Dunn, Ramirez or Abreu yet they'll go after Sheff (albiet for what Arod makes every at bat) but still is this trying to find lightning in a bottle or is it shit we messed up and he is the only guy we can sign right now? My guess is the later.

    What does this mean for Daniel Murphy and Nick Evans?

    Also, if this deal means that they cut Marlon Anderson then this isn't a good deal at all.
