Have you ever watched the NFL before 2010? It was the biggest story in 2008, got Mike Shanahan fired and Jay Cutler traded by McDummy, and got Orton and Tebow to Denver. Jay Cutler is an NFL QB, strong arm, can read defenses. His problem is can be erratic, and has poor body language. Him "quitting" in the 2010 NFC Championship will be his lasting legacy
Yes, I have watched NFL football for the better part of 35 years. Never had a "favorite" team or one that I was an actual fan of until Tebow came along. Oh, btw, nice subtle knock on Tebow not being the best at reading defenses. I mean, it's not like he's only had 16 starts or anything. /sarcasm.
I really don't understand why anyone would waste so much time in a forum when they don't even like the team that matters. Cliff Notes Version: Tebow regressed as the season went on regardless of play calling. Explain away what you can but look at his stats the last 5 games he played as a bronco. The compare them to his first 5 and his middle 5. everything is worse. YPG passing, rushing, scoring, completion percentage was about the same as it ever was. Why is that? Did play calling get worse or stay the same? Look at all the 1st team reps he got yet he was getting worse. 1 game doesnt explain it all away. Explain to me the other 4 bumps in the road? great defenses? Not even close. So what could it have been? hmm maybe defensive game planning? Did he take over at 1-4? Did they win the division? Did they make the playoffs? Did they win a playoff game? Yes, he lost in week 17 against KC. So what? All of the above still happened so no, he did not choke.

Yeah, I admit it, but it's not like I didn't give being a Jets fan a shot. I hoped they would do well this year with the Sanchez/Tebow thing working out like Rex said it would. My problems with the Jets started when I realized that we were all lied to about how Tebow was going to be used. If they said he was just going to hold a clipboard I would have been fine with that and have agreed that it made the most sense. But it seems like we were lied to and Tebow was paraded out as a personal punt protector to look like a damn fool.
Not kidding. Most people understand HOW those games were won, and anyone that actually WATCHED the entire games and not just the hilights of the last 5 minutes of the games could see he was carried more so than HE winning it. Why do you give more credit to the guy who played 5 minutes over the guys that busted their asses for 60 minutes keeping Tebow in a game when he was just shot putting the ball into the next time zone?
