i have been on vacation from this site to avoid high blood pressure attacks. i was opposed to the AR trade, and they gave up way toomuch on top of it. since 1965, i have watched this team except for brief interludes, weeb, walt michaels, the tuna, rex, and even herm , the coaching staff has been mostly subpar. the CHiefs won SB 4 after the Jets won SB3. yet, their owners have put a top notch team on the field, with owners, front office, and GM, Coaching staffs that know what they're doing. trying to buy the playoffs in free agency is a total waste of money. so, i have to agree with brook. until there is anew owner, don't expect anything good. the hoodie must have gotten tipped off, cause he stayed under hess, but fled after hess passed away. while hess saw thw light too late, only werblin was an owner that got results. having an offense that can't block, and a defense that can't tackle is NOT going to win any championships, let alone make the playoffs.

The one thing that you rarely hear about is when Denis Byrd got hurt how Mr Hess would visit him every day at the hospital and how he paid for ALL his hospital expenses and what was at the time, an extremely expensive experimental treatment that eventually led to Denis actually being able to walk which they thought wasn’t ever going to happen. I could never picture Woody doing the same.
Woody had a chance to fire Saleh in the offseason to hire Harbaugh or Vrabel, instead he rode with Saleh only to fire Saleh in the season anyways, Harbaugh now has as many wins as the Chargers had all of last year while losing key players like Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams. This is just proof that Woody is a absolute invisile and how important coaching is in the Nfl. I guarantee you Woody has not learned from his mistake and our next coach will once again be a nobody who is not qualified for the job as the last 5 coaches, and will suck as much as Saleh and if not worse, and we will never have a competitive team again until Woody sells this team.

The problem is Woody is a idiot owner who doesn't hire the right people to draft the right Franchise quarterback or develop them, last 4 quarterbacks we drafted were Mark Sanchez, Hackenberg, Darnold, Zack Wilson, who all sucked ass here. While Last 3 quarterbacks Greenbay drafted will all likely be hall of famers and will be there 15+ years, are we just the unluckiest franchise in the world and Greenbay is the luckiest or does Woody just hire morons? All of the above. Woody is an idiot and has no clue who to hire. Literally no idea what a top football guy looks like. He needs to get Pete Carroll or some proven winner OR go the Asst coach route like a Ben Johnson type or another guy from a top franchise. If he doesn't do one of these two options they will continue to be perpetual shit. He obviously needs to hire a GM with this unless they get a big name like Carroll who could probably command both or just have someone work under him.
That’s the problem. Woody has NO clue on who to hire. THAT’S the problem. Until that changes, we will continue to suck because we are run by GMs and HCs who aren’t any good.
