What does that have to do with the onside kick I was asking about? And by the way, what "decision" to let him score are you referring to? They clearly were attempting to make the tackle.
Although I thought it was horrible to see 22 people at the game today - this pile of shit team and coaching staff deserves it.
Hard to get down on the ticket holders, since they cracked down on the tit flashing there isn't much of an incentive to hang out until half time.
I don't know what you're talking about. There were a lot of us out there sitting in the freezing rain up until the last possible chance. I can't feel my legs, I have a cold, and I can barely type.
I feel bad for you poor bastards who freeze your asses off watching this trainwreck. However, I feel pretty stupid too having blown almost 300$ on sunday ticket to watch this crap. Or actually, to no longer watch it.
Who cares. People can do what they want to do. They already paid for the ticket, the Jets got their money, if they want fans to sit in the stands, then they can play football. And I was there, in case you don't care.
I run 100 – 150 every week watching this crap at a bar…that’s some loot even on a season where I don’t get arrested.
While I understand the sentiment of the OP, in a way having nobody in the stands will alert upper management that there needs to be a change. Not going to the game lets the coaching staff and ownership know that the fans are not going to accept mediocrity. Actually this team isn't even mediocre, they're god awful.
I was in the stands.. like I have been for roughly 70 straight games... but I can see people not showing. The team sucks, the weather sucked, the opponent wasn't anyone particularly interesting.
You guys bitch about the stadium being empty and watch the game on tv. Its not the season ticket holders its the whole fan base. You have no right to bitch when you could have gotten tickets and went to the game yourself
Instead of whining why don't you and all the whinng non-season ticket holders get tickets and go to the games?
Again, fans targeting fans. It's the mark of a horrible season, maybe even a horrible franchise. Opportunity cost. Look it up. Read it. Understand it. Stop wasting bandwidth.
I have no issue with ticket holders not wasting a Sunday driving, parking waiting to get in and out to be bored to death during the games. Forgeting the money commiting an entire Sunday, half the weekend that you can spend with your family doing something productive to watch an NFL game that is essentially a bore fest is down right stupid. I respect the no shows for having the common sense to spend some quality time with their families. In the long run the NFL needs more empty stadiums. The quality week to week in the NFL is pretty bad in general. Even if I was a Pats fan you're basically watching exhibition games for the most part. The product isn't worth the time and money.
The only way (because EVERY game IS sold out) for fans to express their displeasure with the product is for them not to show. Empty seats send a message (just ask the Giants about that when they sucked back in the 70's). As for the fans, my seats are surrounded by corporate seats. There was nobody in them. Whenever the team loses, nobody (unless they are fans for the opposing team) ever is in those corporate seats. The people that do sit there usually arrive late and leave early. These are the same companies that our upper management are bending over backward to appease with the new stadium. That being said, I thought that the fans that were there were quite loud and enthusiastic even though up until very late in the game, the game was BORING AS ALL HELL.
"aggreance?" What language is that? Did you mean agreement? Which grade were you in when you dropped out? Or were you in some sort of car accident?
