Somebody knew the house well. I would hope they were too dumb and left prints somewhere. You also have to wonder if burglary was really the motive or whether it was more sinister then that. A normal burglar would wait to come back if he knew people were home. I think there will be a whole lot more coming to light about this then we know now.
Actually the whole scenario sounds more like a personal attack than some random burglary. He did have a shady past so you never really know. I don't really expect any arrest but we'll see.
So then take things a step further. Higher end alarms have radio frequency monitoring abilities, so that is there is a cut in the system, and the phones are taken out, a "mayday" is still dispatched via radio frequency...
I don't think he was allowed to own a gun, right? Because of his probation. That's not to say (I don't think) that his wife could not have owned one.
Sean Taylor was one of the best safetys in the game. This is horrible news. God bless him and his family. May he rest in peace.
One of the articles I read said that Taylor's father was a chief of police in Florida. You can bet anything he's got his full resources dedicated to finding the killers right now.
This is sad. I feel for his family and friends but especially for his little girl. A young up and coming with so much to look forward to, taken so early.
Not in the same jurisdiction. But I'm sure that the Chief in Miami is giving some professional courtesy.
I canceled my central monitoring earlier this yr, not so much because of the money, but I felt safe here in suburbia!!....
Sad sad news. Always wished he had been a Jet. Thoughts too his family and Team mates. RIP Sean Taylor. Just hope they get the asshole(s) responsible
