Late games, I live in Europe and even I stay up to see them play and a late game is around 02:00 at night overhere!! How do you think I feel the next day?:drunk:
No consecutive home weeks, that's rare. I'll have plenty of time to reload in between tailgate outings. Bring it on, only 4-1/2 months to go.
The games on this schedule IMO that: are winnable: both Miami games, Arizona, Oakland, KC, & maybe SF. are pick 'ems: Cinci Both Buff games St Louis Tenn Denver are tough games: Both New England games San Diego Seattle So in the: In winnable say they win 5 (sweep Miami) In pick 'ems they win 3 (split with Buff lose to Tenn) In tough they win 1 (beat Seattle) 9-7 is possible but will it be good enough for the wild card? As far as NE having an easy schedule? Just look at the division they are in. Talk about timing! The AFCE is back on it's way up but NE still has the controls.
It's hard to judge scheds in April as teams get good and bad quickly but at first glance it looks alot like the '06 sched. A semi-tough opener on the road then 2 brutal games back to back before the sched gets a little softer and it looks manageable down the stretch w/ the exception of that road game at Seattle.
I don't like New England being the home opener for the third year in a row. It's a tall order and it's tough on the fans to get into a positive mindset. You wait all year for the game, do whatever you do on game day, we go and cook out, get all fired up, then the Jets go out there and get the shit kicked out of them. I guess on the positive side a big win could set us up nicely and get us going, but that's not the way it's been happening. We walk out of the stadium down one home game in the division and chasing for the rest of the year.
