Comparing rookie years, although I don't have any stats, I think he is better than Revis in coverage, but not even close when comparing run support. You can see that he is still reluctant to stick his head into a scrum tackling a runner. He does a fair job tackling his coverage who rarely catches anything against him. Overall though, having a guy who can neutralize an opponent's main pass weapon is extremely valuable and worth the weakness in run support.
Revis moved side to side from 2009 on. Not sure if he was doing that yet as a rookie in 2007 or second year in 2008. I think they're comparable talents at this point in their career. We'll see if the Jets use Sauce to shut down the #1 or just keep him on his side as they're doing now.
I was "meh" when they drafted this kid Sauce... but oh my!... is he good at what he does. I don't even care about his poor tackling... just don't get hurt.
I wanted to draft OL/Thibideaux during the draft, so I wasnt thrilled with taking a CB Is it possible he's already the best CB in the NFL. Or at worst top 5?
