exactly that was a big problem last year. OUr D played the whole game and when it came late in the 4th quarter they were exhausted and played sloppy. Like the Jags game or Atlanta

What impresses me the most is that Holmes can fucking stretch it for a TD. Some of those clips he's reaching for it from like the 8 yard line. For a guy whos like 5'10" thats a really nice ability.

He is a good punt returner, but he rarely has returned punts in his career.

I'm happy with Leonhard/Wilson/Mcknight in future possibly

holmes returning punts could be sick. and since we wouldn't need him every play on offense i like it

Santonio is going to be used as a decoy more than anything. I'm not sure why people think he'll have awesome stats right out of the gate. Sanchez and Holmes barely got any reps together during the preseason.

I think santonio has a good game, nothing spectacular. I'm expecting him to run a bunch of quick slants and curls underneath, maybe a bubble screen or two to keep it simple. All he needs is some open field to do damage. A bomb down the sidelines on play action might work out.

True. At this point Sanchez has far more of a comfort level not only with Keller and Cotch but also Edwards.

anybody else not like the fact when asked about his drug violations he basically says I'ma do what I do I'ma super bowl mvp! lol.

makes me laugh when everyone thinks resigning holmes over Edwards is a no brainer. Holmes is a toke away from a 1 year ban.

that being said hes nasty and this offense should only get better as long as Sanchez doesnt force shit to him.

Agreed on the comparison to Edwards. I think most of those ignoring the obvious problems Holmes might have were just caught up in the feeding frenzy over Edwards. See how quiet that got after Edwards's performances in the last two games?

That was pretty damn awesome. Love the way he likes to cut and look for extra yards on the play.
