the thomas jones trade was the most ridiculous trade cus it was essentially a trade down

Thats what I thought, especially considering Leon can't possibly pass a physical right now. But with the way Tanny wheels and deals it really wouldn't surprise me if some under the table agreement was made.

I love Cotch to death, hes one of my favorite Jets but Holmes is a better reciever. In all honesty I would rather it be Cotch and Holmes on the outside with Edwards in the middle but I just don't see that happening.

The guy is out for 4 weeks and Rex will probably put his ass in the slot to make him "earn" his place on this team. Reguardless where they put these three WRs, the Jets got a hell of a talented offense. Edwards-Cotch-Holmes-Keller-Greene-Leon-LT... Sanchez should have some fun this season.

Edwards in the middle would be the worst option. He's too big and doesn't have the lateral movement. Holmes has the best skill set to play in the slot as a deep threat as well as a short and intermediate route runner who can make guys miss, Edwards has the size to be the deep threat on the outside and Cotchery is the perfect safety blanket on the opposite end of the field.

I feel like we've been raiding the AFC North for the last year now.

Honestly, probably Harris. ILB is an easier position to replace than LT, if you are talking about players who produce at a high level. If it was someone like Kevin Shaffer at LT, then it would be a different story. Provided Rex and Tannenbaum can find a space-eater to replace Jenkins long term, getting another MLB shouldn't be too difficult. Even if there isn't a high-level prospect available, he can still shade a safety over the middle to help out with the run. But a guy like Brick who can shut down elite pass rushers is much more valuable, even on a defense-driven team.

Gotta love how Tannenbaum might've had the best offseason of anyone in the NFL, and that's with the final 8 rules.

Cromartie, Holmes, LT, Pool, and maybe Taylor...and this was supposed to be a quiet offseason.

Hey, I'm excited too, but didn't they win the Superbowl that year?

And don't they have the most rings out of all franchises?

Lets focus on our gains and not on their losses.

In case you hadn't noticed, BE can't catch the deep ball. Having him come out of the slot in a short yardage, over the middle/blocking quasi-TErole is the best place for his skill set.
