Wahoo, as others have pointed out, our HC is a Homer which comes with the job. Going forward, just do like alot of us do and take what Rex says with the peverbial grain of salt.. You'll feel better about things..

I don't think we can give up on Sanchez for a couple of lousy games in his second season. With that said, it worries the hell out of me that he doesn't seem to be able to pass in cold or wind. We drafted a SoCal QB to play in the northeast, ugg...

It's times like these I miss Eric Mangini. Really??? Well, if there wasn't so much talk about how good this Jets team is from the HC this train wreck would be easier to watch. Then after the game yesterday, Ryan says at the press conference that he was going to bench Sanchez in the 3rd but didn't because he still gave us the best chance to win. That's shit you keep to yourself. Everyone knows that Sanchez sucks!! Even the guys here who have him in their avatar knows it. But the HC coach doesn't have to admit it to the press. Mangini for all his faults knew how to handle a press conference. He was the same guy when he won as he was when he lost. Humble!! ..Oh, and Sanchez sucks!! ...But then I knew that!

The fact is no one knows whether Sanchez might not still prove to be a good, even very good, Qb. But at the same time right now he does not inspire great confidence in that regard.

I know he was the Qb who took the team to the Champ game last year. And he played quite well earlier this season. But he's thrown 12 picks in the last 8 games. That kind of regression is a real problem. Where he goes from here will tell the tale, but to be honest, I don't understand how that kind of regression ends up being merely a bump on the road in the long run. I fear it is worse than that.

Until the Jets and Sanchez win a SB, they all suck! No amount of wins or swagger can remove that stigma. Everything else is just fodder that keeps people giving them money. But, the Patriots for all their cheating scandals can say, they win SB's

It was meant to refute his claim that Sanchez is clearly Rick Mirer.

you can argue either way based on his stats from his first two years.

We still don't know, we need to give him time, throwing him away is just assinine right now...

    Think about it.

I'm not trying to cause contiversy here, but the Jets fans have to a consider this possibility. Sanchez is a warm weather kid, played at warm weather USC.
He has warm weather genetics as well. Knowing this may not have the physical make up to play in the Northeast in December.

I posted something a week ago and got sassed for not attaching a link etc... concerning what a Boston reporter mentioned in an article.
However, as confirmationon to that. On Mike & Mike this morning, Greeny mentioned Sanchez's comment before last weeks game against the Pats.
Sanchez stretching on the field before the game "It's too cold to play football" Granted he was joking or whatever? The fact is, the thought was in his head.
Also last week I posted that Sanchez looked ill after playing the game. That was a quote from ex player Steve DeOssie. I also got scoffed at for that, and saying "Cold weather teams, that don't play in domes, don't draft warm weather QB's".
    So... Think about it.

Feel good knowing that alot of us were thinking exactly that on draft day. He played well last year in Artic conditions down in Cincinnati. That Mark Sanchez won over alot of people that day. This year is a completely different story. Seems the colder the air gets, the colder Mark gets and for a cold weather team in december, that is not good.

There might be something to this.

Look at how bad-ass Nick Mangold is. Genetically, he's got to be a fucking Viking. The next QB we draft should be selected only after a DNA test proving them to be racially worthy to play for our team.

I don't want to sound controversial but, I think it's pretty clear that Nazi Supermen are our superiors.

Yea, we heard you the first time.

Come on man, is he the first so called "warm weather QB" to struggle as a second year QB?

Are we to expect this forever because he had a few bad games?

Are we to forget his play late last year against Cincy in two cold games in a row?

Good QBs overcome all these things. Brett Favre lived in a warm climate in Mississippi, so did the Mannings, etc.

It has more to do with him growing up as a QB, and a coordinator putting him in situations to be succesful, then it does with him growing up in Southern California.

...Now that I come to think of it. I see a lot of references in this thread and others to the great play of Sanchez in last years playoff game against the Bengals. Hmmm.....!! have you guys seen the Bengals lately? They even improved there roster by adding TO and dumping Coles..... SMOKESCREEN I TELL YOU!! Sanchez sucks!!

Sanchez does not suck. He's struggling right now for sure, but he does not suck.

Al Dorrow reminds of the guy that slams his car into a crowd of people..blood everywhere..and then gets out of the car and skips down the street.

    Talk about hit and run.

Who the hell knows what Sanchez will be. What he has shown so far is this:

    1. Has the ability to lead a team down the field and win the game.

    2. Throw into even bigger crowds than Al drives his car through.

    Other than that...who knows.

His recievers didn't help. Holmes catches that perfectly thrown TD and the game changes.

Why didn't the rest of us think of that? That makes perfect sense, and COMPLETELY explains everything SO SO clearly. Keep up the good work!
